Small towns and sleepy neighborhoods with interesting convenient stores—selling everything, from gasoline to gummies, pizzas to postcards—attract me.
I live in Boston.
The best part of the city is its bustling soul.
Its oomph and optimism never fails to permeate your heart.
Rain or shine, a stroll down the streets or some leisurely moments spent in one of the parks at its heart is a treat to your jaded mind.
Boston is like a motley bag of buttons, with architectural wonders old and new, modern and archaic, existing side by side—complementing each other and enhancing the city’s beauty.
I am from India—born and raised in one of the most vibrant and colorful cities in the world, called Kolkata.
I miss and don’t miss my home at the same time, for wherever I go, I never fail to spot a park or a bookstore, a café, or an ally that looks like it has a cousin in Kolkata.
I have a box-full of hobbies.
I love hunting idioms which is a bit therapeutic to me.
And I don’t mind falling down the rabbit hole—setting out in search of a specific word and losing my course amid an ocean full of meanings and expressions.
